Pineapple Buttermilk Gravy (More Kuzhambu) instructions

  1. Take a kadai, add Pineapple pieces and water and let it boil..
  2. Grind the ingredients into a fine paste. Add the pasta and let it boil for 5 minutes..
  3. Add Turmeric and salt while boiling..
  4. Temper all ingredients in oil and mix it with the gravy and switch off the flame..
  5. When the gravy is lukewarm, add buttermilk and gently mix it..
  6. Now Pineapple Buttermilk Gravy is ready to be served with rice..

However, I always wanted to try Tamilnadu style of mor kuzhambu that I had tasted in some of. In a kadai add pineapple, pineapple puree,turmeric powder,salt and sugar with some water and cook until the pineapple is cooked. Now add in coconut paste and mix well.
