Ingredients of Veg Kadi Pakora

  1. You need 1/2 cup of Raagi Four.
  2. It's 1 1/2 cup of Besan/gram flour.
  3. It's 1 cup of chopped Vegetables (Cauliflower, Potatoes, French Beans, Carrot, Onion).
  4. You need 1 of medium Onion sliced.
  5. Prepare 4-5 of chopped Garlic Cloves.
  6. Prepare 1 of long chopped Green Chilli.
  7. It's 1 inch of grated Ginger.
  8. You need 3-4 of Cloves.
  9. You need 1 tsp of Jeera(cumin) for tadka.
  10. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Hing (Asafoetida) for tadka.
  11. You need 1 of Bay Leaf.
  12. It's 2 cup of Buttermilk.
  13. You need 1 tbsp of Turmeric Powder.
  14. It's 1 tbsp of Red Chilli Powder.
  15. You need 2 tbsp of Coriander Powder.
  16. Prepare to taste of Salt.
  17. You need as needed of Oil for frying and Tadka.
  18. You need as needed of Water for Pakora Batter.

The pakoras are then dipped in a sunshine-yellow sauce (kadhi) made with yogurt, chickpea flour, turmeric and other spices. Mix yogurt and gram flour and mix well. Add water and whisk until it becomes smooth. Add ginger juice and mix well.

Veg Kadi Pakora instructions

  1. In a vessel Add 1 cup Besan, Raagi Flowers, 1/2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder, 1 tbsp Coriander Powder, chopped Vegetables and salt as per taste. Mos all dry ingredients well. Now add water into it and make a batter, as shown in the picture. Now in a Kadahi heat oil to fry pakoras..
  2. In a pot heat oil. Add Jeera, Hing, Bay Leaf, Cloves, Onions, Garlic Ginger, Chilli amd saute for few minutes. Now add all remaining spices. And mix well..
  3. On parrallel make a batter for Kadi using Buttermilk and remaining Besan. Add it into the tadka getting ready. After 1 boil add Pakoras in the Kadhi and let them cook all-together for 10 minutes. After 10 mins switch off the gas. Your Veg Kadhi Pakoras are ready. Goes with Rice. Enjoy Meal!.
